Mr. Poltrack focuses his practice primarily on litigation in state and federal courts in Maryland. He regularly represents businesses and individuals in matters involving complex civil litigation, criminal defense, serious traffic matters (including hearings before the MVA), domestic matters (including divorce, custody, and adoption), business matters ranging from formation of new entities to complex corporate transactions, and general estate planning.
Mr. Poltrack began his legal career with the firm of Foster, Braden & Thompson, LLP in Stevensville, Maryland. He has been recognized as a "Leading Lawyer" by What's Up Eastern Shore.
Mr. Poltrack earned his undergraduate degree in Marine Transportation, and holds a United States Coast Guard License as an unlimited Third Mate. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Poltrack was employed in the maritime industry, and worked in numerous operations and stevedoring capacities at the Port of Baltimore. He attained the rank of Lieutenant in the United States Naval Reserve.
Mr. Poltrack resides in Annapolis with his wife, Angela, and their five children.
